The water is my wayfinder. I currently split time between the East Coast in Boston and the West Coast in Los Angeles.
I pursued a traditional film degree at Emerson College and at the end of my career made a definitive switch from the big budget path to docs. In early 2009, when some new platforms - let’s call them YouTube and Vimeo - started to gain early traction, I saw them as the future of content creation and totally switched gears - falling into the digital world and never looking back. 2017 marked another turning point in my career when I joined an experimental studio on Facebook’s Creative Shop called the Video Lab, where I helped shape the future of stories on the small screen.
I have been fortunate enough to make across mediums my entire career - from skateboards to digital stories, and like my partners in crime at Palette Group, represent an underserved population of the creative community and inspire them to make what moves them.
My goal is to keep making for as long as I exist and inspire other people to do the same in a way that makes sense for them. I’m more about being able to keep playing the game rather than winning in a traditional sense, so this question doesn’t have an answer. ;)
